Trust & Safety

If the cleaning or your home or space is not done to your expectations, please let us know within 24-36 hours. We will send a team out to make it right (within a 7-day window). If you remain unsatisfied after our re-clean, we may offer a partial refund or comparable cleaning credit.

All of our cleaning professionals are interviewed and pass a nationwide background check. We prioritize your safety and take proper steps to provide a service that you can trust.

We have three levels of security in place. First, our booking page is protected by extended validation SSL. Second, our booking form has it’s own layer of 256 bit security. Third, credit card transactions are processed by stripe and is layered on their own 256 security protocol. Additionally, no credit card information is stored on our system (only a token that allows us to charge the card).

Yes. All of our cleaning professionals undergo a detailed nationwide background check as the last step of our pre-screening process.

If something goes wrong, we promise to do our best to make it right. Please contact us immediately, so that we may properly address your concerns.

Policies & Services

Our cleaning professionals will undoubtedly provide you with an excellent service. However, we have listed a number of services that we will not perform.

  • Cannot perform services while other services are being performed in or around the home (plumbing, painting, construction, etc.)
  • No Lifting or moving heavy items (Refrigerator, Stove, Tables, Furniture, etc.)
  • No moving vases, hung pictures, or other delicate items.
  • Cleaning any item or area that cannot be safely reached using telescopic cleaning tools.
  • Removing excessive pet hair from upholstery. While our Deep Clean option does include vacuuming furniture, we cannot guarantee the removal of excessive pet hair from upholstery.
  • Cleaning Exterior Windows
  • Removing strong odors (mold, animal waste, smoke, etc.)
  • Cleaning Dishwashers and Washing Machines
  • Cleaning Light Bulbs
  • Cleaning Rodent/Insect Infested Homes
  • Removing excess paint from surfaces
  • Post-Construction Cleaning
  • Deep carpet/floor cleaning (steam cleaning, polishing, waxing, etc.)
  • Heavy marks/stains on walls, baseboards, other painted surfaces due to potential damage to paint.

 

Inside Refrigerator

Remove contents, wipe down & disinfect, replace contents. Does not include freezer unless requested.

Inside Oven

Clean & De-Grease inside oven.

Inside Kitchen Cabinets

Vacuum/Wipe interior cabinets and drawers in kitchen.

Inside Bathroom Cabinets

Vacuum/Wipe inside cabinets and drawers.

Inside Windows

Clean inside window and window sills of reachable windows.

Walls

Wipe down/Spot-clean walls. Because the integrity of paint is sometimes an issue, we err on the side of caution when applying cleaning products to the walls. We will do our best to remove basic stains, but sometimes a spot just needs a quick paint touch-up.

Light Organizing

Organizing, closets, cabinets and drawers, clothes and linens, de-cluttering, and light unpacking. $44/hr/cleaner, so if you choose 1 hour and we send 2 cleaners, that will give them 30 minutes of Organizing time. Please let your cleaners know what you need help organizing with the allotted time.

 

 

 

Yes. It is important that you accurately estimate the time required when booking this service so that your cleaning professionals have the time they need to perform the requested services. This service has a mandatory 3-hour minimum.

If you are a homeowner, landlord, property manager, tenant, buyer, or seller in need of a professional cleaning service, our Move In/Move Out option will provide you with a thorough cleaning. (Please ensure that the home is empty prior to our service. We will need electricity and water.)

Our Standard Cleaning is perfect for recurring services on a home that has been professionally cleaned within the last month and is in average condition for a well-maintained home.

Late Reschedule/Cancellation/Lock-Out Fees: When you schedule your service appointment, we reserve that time for you.  Please carefully read the policies below.

For Rescheduling/Canceling A Service: Please email us at support@maidsofhonorcleaning.com or call/text us at (201) 485-5806 at least 48 hours before your scheduled service during business hours (excluding weekends). If a service appointment is rescheduled/cancelled less than 48 hours in advance, a cancellation fee of $50 will be charged to the card on file.

Same-Day Cancellation Or Lock-Out Fee: If you cancel the day of service or if your Service Professional is unable to enter the property, there will be a cancellation fee of $150 or the price of the service, whichever is less.

Delay in Access: If our cleaning professionals are unable to access your property within 30 minutes of the scheduled appointment (by no fault of their own), your appointment will be deemed canceled and a cancelation fee of $150 will be charged.

 

Getting Started

Generally, we price based on the number of bedrooms and bathrooms in the home. You have the opportunity to add additional services to your requested cleaning for an additional charge. Prices may increase for larger homes or spaces that require more time to properly clean.

We primarily provide services for cities located throughout North and Central Jersey.

Absolutely. You have various services that you may choose from on our booking page. If there is a specific service that you want and do not see listed, you may leave us a note on the booking page requesting a price quote for the service.

Standard cleaning takes into account everything that involves cleaning a home or apartment. Cleaning/vacuuming floors, cleaning bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dusting, etc. We do offer extra services like cleaning inside the fridge and inside the oven, and those can be selected on the booking form when you select service.

Yes, we provide all cleaning supplies, products and equipment, unless there is a specific request for a certain service.  You may also request that we use your personal cleaning products, where appropriate.
